The construction and infrastructure being done by both The Federal and State Government through ADMICARGA and Private Entity Baja California Railroad (BJRR) to promote the usage of the railroad as a freight option will have a positive impact on the city of Tecate, said the mayor of this municipality Nereida Fuentes.<\/p>\n
During the presentation of Cali Baja Cargo Rail Binational Forum, <\/strong>Fuentes presented the advances in optimizing railway crossings for Tecate.<\/p>\n She mentioned that The Federal Government allocated $270 Million pesos (about $15.5 Million Dollars) to rehabilitate and replace warned segments of The Tijuana-Tecate Short Line that dates back to the year 1913.<\/p>\n Nereida Fuentes commented that because the Tijuana-Tecate Short Line transits through downtown Tecate, The Desert Line will have a positive economic and infrastructural impact on the city.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly believe on the positive impact not only for the city but also the environment because it removes trucks from Tijuana and Tecate streets and US Border Crossing\u201d.<\/p>\n Lastly, The Mayor of Tecate acknowledged the support of all governmental agencies and BJRR for not only promoting the economy of Tecate, but also of the State.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The construction and infrastructure being done by both The Federal and State Government through ADMICARGA and Private Entity Baja California Railroad (BJRR) to promote the usage of the railroad as a freight option will have a positive impact on the city of Tecate, said the mayor of this municipality Nereida Fuentes.
