On Friday, January 6th, Baja California Railroad (BJRR) participated in Juguet\u00f3n 2017, organized by TV Azteca, a national media company. This event is organized each year on the \u201cThree Kings Day\u201d and it consists on bringing gifts to children from several of the most vulnerable areas of the city, with the purpose of sharing to moments of joy and happiness.<\/p>\n
This year, Baja California Railroad joined the project by facilitating the transportation of toys and staff of TV Azteca to vulnerable areas that are located near the railroad. This, in collaboration with ADMICARGA who made this possible by loaning the wagons. More than 7,000 gifts were gifted to children living in areas like El Ni\u00f1o, Villas de Monterrey, La Morita and Valle Redondo.<\/p>\n
Before departing Estaci\u00f3n Tijuana, while the toys were being loaded, Mr. Roberto Romand\u00eda, Director of Baja California Railroad, shared a message to the community and expressed his interest in helping the vulnerable sectors of the city, highlighting the interest of the company to continue participating in these activities.<\/p>\n
The toy loading finalized with the support from staff of Baja California Railroad and TV Azteca, and the departure was characterized with great enthusiasm from the collaborators. The 4 location points to be visited were selected previously by Tv Azteca and the Operations and Logistics Manager of BJRR, Mr. Antonio Ota\u00f1ez for safety and control purposes.<\/p>\n
At each stop, there were more than 100 children, who were looking forward to the arrival of the train. When we arrived, the volunteers organized them in rows to facilitate the delivery of the toys. There was support received from officials of the Public Security Office, in order to have better control of the delivery logistic in each point.<\/p>\n
Certainly, the admiration and appreciation the community has for the train was evident. Finally, the gift-giving was accomplished by witnessing the happiness on girls and boys faces, as well as their families who were grateful for the Baja California Railroad and TV Azteca team.<\/p>\n

Se logr\u00f3 llevar m\u00e1s de 7 mil regalos a ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as que viven en zonas como El Ni\u00f1o, Villas de Monterrey, La Morita y Valle Redondo.\r\n\r\nPoco antes de partir, mientras se realizaba la carga de juguetes, el director de Baja California Railroad, Lic. Roberto Romand\u00eda, comparti\u00f3 un mensaje a la comunidad en donde indic\u00f3 su inter\u00e9s por ayudar a los sectores vulnerables de la ciudad, adem\u00e1s de reiterar la apertura de la empresa para participar en este tipo de actividades.\r\n\r\nFinaliz\u00f3 la carga de juguetes en los vagones, con apoyo del personal de Baja California Railroad y TV Azteca, y la partida denot\u00f3 gran entusiasmo por parte de los colaboradores. Los cuatro puntos a visitar fueron previamente seleccionados por TV Azteca y el Gerente de Operaciones y Log\u00edstica de BJRR, Lic. Antonio Ota\u00f1ez, con fines de seguridad y control en la actividad.\r\n\r\nEn cada parada hubo m\u00e1s de 100 ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as, quienes esperaban entusiasmados la llegada del tren. Al llegar, los colaboradores los organizaban en filas para facilitar la entrega de los juguetes. Se recibi\u00f3 apoyo de elementos de Seguridad P\u00fablica para tener un control de la din\u00e1mica de entrega en cada uno de los puntos.\r\n\r\nSin duda, se corrobor\u00f3 el cari\u00f1o que la comunidad tiene hacia el tren.
